Internet eXchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN)

who we are

Internet eXchange Point of Nigeria (IXPN) is a company limited by guarantee [not-for-profit], neutral and membership-based organization. IXPN is dedicated to improving connectivity and internet performance across Nigeria and Africa. By facilitating direct interconnection between Internet Service Providers (ISPs), content delivery networks (CDNs), mobile operators, educational networks, and enterprise services, we deliver markedly lower latency, reduced bandwidth costs, and stronger local internet resilience.

As the Regional Internet Exchange Point (RIXP) for West Africa, IXPN currently connects over 130 active networks. Leading companies such as Google, Meta, Microsoft, Amazon, Netflix, TikTok and all Nigerian Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) have already joined, demonstrating the value of this interconnection.
