The Nigerian Research and Educational Network (NgREN) is currently connected to IXPN. NREN is a Nigeria’s National Research and Education Network interconnecting all higher education institutions (Universities, Poly/monotechnics, Colleges of Education – Federal, State and Private) and research institutes on a high capacity fibre backbone to allow them communicate, collaborate and share resources. The connection of NgREN to IXPN make it easy and affordable for public and private institutions to become part NgREN by connecting to any IXPN location closest to them.
